You would like to travel around Europe, but your budget is limited? However, this does not mean you have to give up your plans, because there are many European cities that are accessible, but also beautiful and interesting enough to visit them.

Here is a list of the cheapest cities in Europe, and we present the most interesting ones:

KRAKOW

Although everyone prefers Prague, Krakow is a typical example of classical Europe. You can enjoy in the beautiful forts, castles, palaces, cathedrals and picturesque squares without having to push the crowd of other tourists, as is the case in Prague. The price of food and drinks are not too expensive, moreover, Krakow has excellent tourist infrastructure with affordable hotels, hostels, bars and restaurants. Wawel Castle, the city center and the old square, the basilica of St. Mary, St.. Peter and Paul are just some of the monuments that adorn the city.

BUDAPEST

Budapest is slightly more expensive than Krakow. This city offers tourists lot that is worth to visit and see. There are boat rides on the Danube, thermal springs or a trip to St. Andrew. Hungarian cuisine is a special challenge for gourmands, who will enjoy discovering new tastes at very decent prices and excellent service in restaurants. For years, the Hungarian capital offers great shopping tours, there are whole shopping areas, both for those with high and for those with low budget. Popular outlet centers are usually located at the entrance or exit of the town, and everyone can purchase designer clothes and shoes at considerably low prices. The famous front of the Parliament, Heroes’ Square in the old part of town, along the walls of Buda Castle, as well as famous bridges are worth to visit.

ISTANBUL

The biggest problem with Istanbul is that even three or four days will not be enough to visit this magnificent city in all its beauty and diversity. Although, because of the growing interest of tourists it has become more expensive, Istanbul is still cheaper than many European capitals. Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, bridges on the Bosphorus are only parts of the challenge that Istanbul offers visitors. The possibility of haggling in the shops is an additional advantage for those who enjoy shopping.

PRAGUE

It is true that Prague is no longer anywhere near as cheap once, and that is full of tourists, this does not mean that it can not be performed relatively cheaply. Prague is known for its excellent pubs, where prices are very decent, and certainly nobody will stay hungry and thirsty.

Golden Prague is simultaneously melancholic and romantic. You should visit Ponec from the Jewish Quarter, the Cathedral of St.. Vit, the Prague Castle, Astronomical Clock, a wall dedicated to John Lennon, and many museums and galleries scattered around the city. However, the Charles Bridge is still the most popular gathering place for both tourists and artists in Prague, but also the right place for a romantic sunset photo with the panorama of the city in the background.

BRUGGE

Although Belgium is not considered to be one of cheaper European countries, and neither Bruges, the city is crowded with hostels, where prices are more than acceptable. Accommodation prices are the highest during the summer months, and it is best to visit this medieval town in the spring or fall. Like Amsterdam, Bruges is often called “Venice of the North” because of the beautiful canals, the architecture that exudes history, perfectly arranged harbor and pleasant population of only 120,000. When you get hungry after a day of touring cathedrals and museums, find a small bistro and taste typical Belgian specialties, and for dessert, select waffle.

LISBON

In Lisbon, accommodation is available at truly diverse prices in hotels, hostels, private houses, while food and drinks are much cheaper than in the popular Spanish cities Madrid and Barcelona. What will be a special treat is finding the perfect bar which runs the traditional fado, except where you’ll enjoy great music and stunning atmosphere. The mixture of the European culture with Moorish influence is felt in all parts of the city, especially around the port.Lisbon is otherwise one of the oldest cities in Europe. In the National Museum you can get acquainted with the tempestuous and uncertain history that has shaped the city.

BERLIN

It is unusual that even so many years after the German reunification Berlin remained much cheaper than Munich or Hamburg. The secret lies in the fact that half the city was once East Berlin with a large number of communist buildings that are still a source of cheap accommodation. In addition to affordable hostels and guest houses, there are numerous restaurants and fast food restaurants that are excellent so you can eat well for a bit of money.

Vienna is a beautiful and enchanting city and there are many sight that can be visited. If you are going to visit it for the first time, the following descriptions can be useful:

It is impossible to cover the vast splendor of all that is displayed in the Hofburg, so visitors must make a choice.

We should not miss to see the Treasury, we we can found a phenomenal collection of crowns, including the crown of St. Stephen, dating back from the 12th century and all the crowns that were used by the Hungarian and Austrian Kaisers. Tickets are available only at the entrance. There is also the Lipizzans Museum, which displays the history of the school.

Prater
One of Vienna’s famous attractions, the great wheel, is located in a park known as the Prater. It was built in 1879 by a British engineering company and is the only of its kind that still exists but although there are similar in Chicago, London and Paris. Externally it is one of Vienna’s finest palace complex, which was built by Prince Eugene of Savoy, a famous general who saved Vienna from the Ottoman conquest. Two palace museums contain some of the most famous Viennese art gallery, which provide excellent examples of Austrian art from the Middle Ages to the present. Medieval and Baroque works are in the bottom of the Palace where many rooms are preserved in their original appearance.

The port was overwhelmed by curious citizens and all were watching with amazement this event. I have been wondering what planning is needed to take such a journey, so I have done some research. Traveling to exotic locations on a luxury ship, catching sunrays, and breathing the salty breezes can renew anyone. Read these tips to have a cruise experience you will never forget:

Before you start planning a cruise holiday answer the question what is your budget like? If you need to hold down expenses you have to economize on your cruise holiday.
As it is known, there are off season and on season dates. You should schedule your trip in the off season to get the best deal. However, cruise lines in reality change prices several times throughout the year. In order to save your money, ask and find out when and what are their absolute lowest season prices. Moreover, keep your arrangements considerably flexible so that you can change ships at the last minute. There are cases that a ship is not filled, so the cruise line can sell the last few tickets at a real low price. They always make everything to sail filled to capacity because people spend money on things such as souvenirs or drinks. If you use this knowledge, you can get a really great deal.
The targeted destination also can make a big difference in your cost as well. You can travel cheaper if you choose a popular destination than if you pick a less popular place. Furthermore, if you just want to relax, enjoy the luxuries and stay on the ocean liner, choose a cruise that does not stop anywhere. These “cruises to nowhere” are just as luxurious as the others but are considerably cheaper.
As on any trip, you need to stay safe, so do not take a lot of expensive equipment or jewelry with you. Your passport, health insurance, and other documents have to be up to date. Also, ask about laws in each country you get off shore because laws in ports and even in the water can vary.

Have you ever been lost while you are on your holiday? That feeling that you do not know where you are is really nerve-racking, especially if there is no one near to ask directions. You might be desperate, but just as all problems have solving, you can also make things to find your right way.

1. Technical devices
With the help of contemporary technology, you can easily determine where you are and find the way you are supposed to go. There are mobile phones, Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) devices and portable Internet devices that are available to us. The easiest thing you can do when you are lost is to call by mobile phone someone who has access to Internet or to a map and ask for direction. On the other hand, with the help of GPS you can easily locate road maps and destinations.

2.Compass
In case that you prefer the old way of doing things, there are still ways to get out of your situation. For instance, a compass can be very useful. Just determine where you are now and look for the direction where you have to go. Also there are techniques that were used in the ancient time, so if you have no a compass you can determine your position depending on the position of the sun, moon or stars.

3. Map
A map is a must! Before going to holiday familiarize yourself with the targeted place, highways and roads. Find famous landmarks and things that you can recognize during the trip. Also, you can use maps that are available on the Internet.

4. Road Signs
The base is to read the road signs. Each town or highway is marked with signs or arrows and the only thing you have to do is to follow them.

5. Ask people for direction
Do not hesitate to ask others for the right direction. Local people are certainly more acquainted with the place than you, no doubt in this.

There are several means of travelling but your decision mainly depends on your preferences and needs. If you are far from your country and wish to drive a car, there is a simple solution. Rent a car! Car hire in Europe can be an unforgettable and a unique way for Americans to become familiarized with the history of Europe. Seeing ancient architecture, charming villas, vibrant vineyards, and majestic mountains from a car is an exhilarating experience. The following tips and pieces of advice can help you in maximizing the fun of your car rental in Europe.

During planning your European vacation, consider renting a car in your targeted country. It has many advantages over other kinds of transportation, like train or bus. Moreover, you can make your reservations far in advance, print all travel and rental confirmations, and take them with you. Nowadays, many things can be done online.

You have to bring your regular driving license with you, and all your insurance information. Car rental companies need proof that you are a qualified and responsible driver. Also, find out what other documentation you may need while renting a car in your European destination country.

For fully enjoying, you can determine in advance what model of car you will be getting. If you cannot drive a stick shift or manual transmission car, this may limit your vehicle choices. Always ask about the price, availability, and types of fuel. Also, always take the supplemental insurance that is offered by the rental company.

However, you have to be prepared for surprises. There can be some new or different traffic rules, local driving habits, traffic circles, and possible driving on the opposite side of the road will probably present some difficulty.

If you decide to rent a car in Europe be prepared that it will be a challenging but fun vacation that you will never forget. Research, learn the customs, and plan your route. It can be a trip for a lifetime.

Especially, families with small children. There are many things that the little ones can do, such as digging in the sand or splashing in the lapping waves. Also, there are activities in which the older ones can enjoy. They can swim, get a tan, or just relax. The inquisitive types can explore for sea life, tide pools, and drift wood. However, any trip can cause discomfort if you do not plan adequately. In order to help you, here are things you can do to make your beach holidays easier and safer.

Go to the beach holiday using the family car is a very common kind of traveling. But firstly you have to have a reliable and good car. Also, it is always a good idea to give the car a good cleaning out first because this will give you more room for your luggage. Stock you glove-box with a few first aid and comfort items, such as sunblock, medicaments for fever and headache, a roll of antacids, a few cough drops, and a few bandaids. Do not forget a couple of scrunchies or ponytailers for long hair. Get the tires checked and replace any that are likely to go flat. Get an oil change if it is getting close. Road trips are not much fun when they include breakdowns. And whatever you do, make sure you have a map and a place to keep it handy.

Particularly, travelling with children is always a challenge. Sometimes they may be excited and impatient when they know they are going on a beach holiday. Make sure they have cool water bottles and healthy snacks in sufficient amount. Take a simple car game or a book to make the time pass. Many children like looking for letters of the alphabet on signs. Also, some of the little passengers prefer sleeping, and in that case parents should start the trip during evening or night.

There is always a need to provide for skin safety if you plan a beach holiday. Make sure for the sake of children to avoid being in the sun for long stretches of time (between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m). Use sunblocks with a high SPF rating and replace it after getting wet or drying off with your towel. The towel you choose can make a difference too. Thick towels get heavy and tend to trap a lot of sand. You may find you like thin towels at the beach. Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes and some sort of foot protection to keep your feet from being burned on the hot sand.

As you see, your beach holiday can be enjoyable and problem-free with little preparation. After the trip you will be relaxed, refreshed, and ready for work, and this is exactly what a trip should be. A time for charging our batteries.
